We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how Yushaa collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use our website, web applications, and mobile applications (including iOS and Android) for marketplace activities, vendor and buyer features, messaging, payments-related flows, business funding where offered, CAC registration support, affiliate programs, and related services.
Depending on how you use Yushaa, we may collect:
Personal information:
Name, email address, phone number, and account credentials; profile and preferences you choose to provide.
Business and marketplace information:
Vendor storefronts, listings, products, orders, escrow or transaction-related metadata needed to operate the marketplace, and communications between buyers and sellers where facilitated through Yushaa.
Affiliate information:
Affiliate identifiers, referral activity, and payout-related information required to run the affiliate program.
Website and platform usage:
Log and usage data when you use our website or logged-in services (for example pages viewed, approximate region derived from IP where available, device/browser type, and diagnostic events needed for security and reliability).
Mobile application data:
When you use our mobile apps we may process: app and operating-system version; device model and language/locale; installation identifiers needed for push notifications (processed through Apple Push Notification service / Firebase Cloud Messaging as applicable); notification preferences; in-app activity needed to provide features (such as marketplace browsing, cart or order flows, vendor tools, social feed interactions, and in-app messaging content you send or receive); photos or media you choose to upload (for example product images), which may involve temporary access to your camera or photo library only when you initiate an upload; and crash or diagnostic information to keep the app stable. We ask for permissions (camera, photos, notifications, etc.) only when needed for a feature you use and you can change many permissions in your device settings.
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve our website, apps, and marketplace (including search, orders, vendor tools, and customer support)
- Process vendor onboarding, subscriptions or fees where applicable, affiliate payouts, and payments-related workflows offered through partners
- Send service messages, security alerts, and (where you opt in) marketing or promotional communications and push notifications
- Detect, investigate, and help prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our policies
- Deliver in-app and email communications you expect (for example order updates, chat or inquiry notifications, and feed activity where enabled)
- Analyze aggregated or de-identified usage to understand product performance (we do not sell your personal information)
We may share information with:
- Regulatory bodies such as CAC when registration or compliance services are part of your use of Yushaa
- Payment, banking, or financing partners when you use funding or payment features they provide
- Service providers who assist us (for example cloud hosting, authentication, email delivery, analytics, customer support tools, and fraud prevention)
- Law enforcement or other authorities when required by applicable law or to protect rights and safety
- Apple and Google as necessary to deliver push notifications and distribute our mobile apps through their platforms (under their respective terms and privacy policies)
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Yushaa:
- Does not sell your personal information
- Uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational security measures
- Shares personal data only when needed to provide our services, with your direction, or when required by law
By using Yushaa, you agree to this Policy and to the processing described here (see also your choices and deletion options below).
We implement security measures appropriate to the nature of the data we process, including encryption in transit where supported (such as HTTPS), access controls, and vendor diligence for infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we work to reduce risk and respond to issues responsibly.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of or correct personal data associated with your account
- Request deletion or restriction of certain processing (see Section 8 for how to submit a deletion request and expected timelines)
- Withdraw marketing consent where processing is based on consent (service-related messages may still be sent where necessary)
- Object to certain processing where provided by law, or lodge a concern with a data protection authority where applicable
You may request access to personal data we hold about you or ask us to delete personal data or close your account in line with this Policy and applicable law. Some information must or may be retained to complete transactions, meet accounting, tax, or anti-fraud obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreementsβwhen that applies, we will explain what we can delete and what we must keep.
- Acknowledgement: We aim to acknowledge verified requests within seven (7) business days of receipt at the email address you provide.
- Completion: For standard requests, we aim to complete verification and fulfill or deny the request within thirty (30) calendar days after we confirm your identity and scope of the request.
- Extensions: Complex requests (for example those involving many systems or legal review) may require up to an additional thirty (30) calendar days. If we need more time, we will tell you the reason and the expected completion date.
- How to submit: Use our website form (also reachable from the Yushaa mobile app under Support & Legal). Submitting the form does not require you to be logged in; include the email address you use with Yushaa so we can locate your records.

On our website we use cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, measure traffic, and improve performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Our mobile apps do not use browser cookies; they may use local storage or platform APIs for sign-in state, preferences, and diagnostics in line with this Policy.
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing services, meeting legal, tax, and regulatory requirements, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements. Retention periods vary by data type (for example transaction records may be kept longer than marketing preferences). When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it where feasible.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on our website and adjust the "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes affecting mobile users, we may also provide notice in the app or by email where appropriate. Continued use of Yushaa after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy.
