RETURNS, REFUNDS & BUYER PROTECTION POLICY

Effective May 2025 · Last updated May 2025

1

Introduction

At Yushaa, we are committed to building trust between buyers and vendors.

This Returns, Refunds & Buyer Protection Policy explains how returns, refunds, disputes, and escrow-protected transactions are handled on the Yushaa platform.

By using Yushaa, buyers and vendors agree to this Policy.

2

Buyer Protection

Yushaa provides buyer protection through its escrow system.

When a buyer places an order:

  • Payment is collected and securely held
  • The vendor is notified to fulfil the order
  • The product is shipped
  • The buyer receives the order
  • Funds are released only after delivery is confirmed

This process helps protect both buyers and vendors.

3

Eligible Refund Situations

A buyer may be eligible for a refund if:

Product Not Delivered

The order is not delivered within the agreed timeframe and no reasonable explanation is provided.

Wrong Product Received

The buyer receives a product substantially different from what was ordered.

Damaged Product

The product arrives damaged or unusable due to shipping or fulfilment issues.

Missing Items

The order is incomplete and required items are missing.

Vendor Unable to Fulfil

The vendor is unable to fulfil the order after payment has been received.

Counterfeit or Misrepresented Product

The product materially differs from its description, images, specifications, or advertised condition.

4

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds may not be granted where:

  • The buyer changes their mind after delivery
  • The buyer ordered the wrong item
  • The buyer provides an incorrect shipping address
  • The product shows normal wear after use
  • The product was damaged after successful delivery
  • The complaint falls outside the applicable dispute period

Yushaa reserves the right to assess each case individually.

5

Return Requests

Where a return is required, buyers must:

  • Submit a return request through Yushaa support
  • Provide order details
  • Provide supporting evidence where applicable

Examples of evidence include:

  • Photographs
  • Videos
  • Delivery records
  • Product packaging
  • Communication records

Yushaa may request additional information before making a decision.

6

Dispute Process

If a buyer is dissatisfied with an order, a dispute may be opened.

When a dispute is opened:

  • Escrow funds remain on hold
  • The vendor is notified
  • Evidence is collected
  • Yushaa reviews the matter

Yushaa may request information from:

  • Buyer
  • Vendor
  • ABC Logistics
  • Other logistics providers
  • Delivery records
  • Platform records

A final decision will be made based on the available evidence.

7

Resolution Outcomes

After review, Yushaa may determine one of the following outcomes:

Full Refund

The buyer receives a complete refund.

Partial Refund

A portion of the payment is refunded.

Product Replacement

A replacement item is provided where appropriate.

Release of Funds

The vendor receives payment where the claim is not supported by evidence.

Alternative Resolution

Both parties agree to another mutually acceptable solution.

8

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method where possible.

Refund processing times may vary depending on:

  • Payment provider
  • Banking institutions
  • Regulatory requirements
  • Operational considerations

Yushaa will make reasonable efforts to process approved refunds promptly.

9

Escrow Release

Funds may be released to the vendor when:

  • The buyer confirms receipt
  • Delivery records confirm successful delivery
  • No dispute is raised within the applicable review period
  • A dispute is resolved in the vendor's favour

Once funds have been released, further claims may be subject to additional review.
